The second meeting between the Winfield-Mt. Union and Columbus Community baseball teams ended in similar fashion to the first with the Wolves picking up a season sweep of the Wildcats.

The Wolves scored in five out of the six frames and they stomped their way to a 12-2 mercy-rule victory. WMU had seven hits led by Nick Crow and Luke Pfeiffer each going 2-for-3 with one RBI. Crow recorded the win on the mound tossing six innings of two run ball (one earned) giving up four hits and striking out seven. 

The Wolves improve to 2-17 and the Wildcats drop to 0-16.
