Getting above .500 is the goal tonight for the Washington softball team when they return home to face Keokuk for a Southeast Conference doubleheader.

The Demons sit at 14-14 overall and are three games back of the conference lead with an 8-5 league mark. They had a rain filled last week where games against Mid-Prairie, Burlington, and their home tournament was called due to weather. They did get the first game against Burlington in before lightning and the Grayhounds took care of business 15-0. Keokuk is 7-15 overall and 5-5 in the conference. They most recently fell to Central DeWitt 10-3 on Friday. The first meeting on June 10th saw Washington win game one 15-6, but the Chiefs answer back 12-8 in the nightcap.

Game one gets started at 5:30 p.m. tonight in Washington. Listen to all of the action on FM 106.1 KCII starting at 5 p.m.
