The Mid-Prairie School Board approved the creation of a full-time high school special education teacher position during their meeting last week. Moving forward, the district will be looking to transfer a part-time instructor into this position. Changes were also made to Employee Policy 403.1, Employee Physical Examination Requirements. All employees are required to show evidence of good health before getting hired in the form of a physical examination. With this change, employees are no longer required to get tested for tuberculosis.
