The Highland Huskies finished a season sweep of Hillcrest Academy on the baseball diamond Friday in Riverside by an 11-5 score. Hillcrest took a brief 1-0 lead with a single run in the first, only to see Highland counter with four in the bottom half and two more in the second, to go up 6-1. The Ravens chopped the lead to 6-3 with two runs in the fourth, but Highland again answered, this time with a four spot to lead 10-3 after three. Each team would get on the board again in the fifth, the Ravens with two runs and one for Highland.

The Huskies pounded out 16 hits in their win, including three extra base hits and a homer. Chase Schultz and Kaige Vonnahme each had three hits and an RBI. Luke Miller was two for four including a home run with three RBI and two runs scored. Schultz got the win on the mound, working four and a third innings, giving up five hits, three runs, walking three and striking out four. London Schrock led the Ravens with two hits, a pair of RBI and a run scored. He took the loss on the mound working two and two thirds innings with 10 hits, 10 runs, three walks and a strikeout. Highland improves to 14-7 on the year, the Ravens are now 9-8.
