A Columbus Junction man was arrested on Washington County warrants Friday.

A Washington County Sheriff’s deputy reported locating 35-year-old Nelson Yovani Mendoza at about 2 p.m. in the 12000 block of County Road G56 in Wapello. Mendoza was wanted on charges of second-degree burglary, a class C felony, and fifth-degree criminal mischief, a simple misdemeanor. Mendoza was transported to the Washington County Jail to be held on a $10,300 cash-only bond. KCII will bring you more information as it becomes official.
