This week, Mid-Prairie head coach Kyle Mullet talked about what he needs to see from his team. “We’re playing against the baseball itself, we’re almost playing against ourselves. The ball gets put in play and you make the routine plays and focusing on that. Focusing on ourselves is important and putting the pressure on the other team.”

These two teams met in a doubleheader a week ago with Mid-Prairie taking game one 12-1 in five innings and Regina winning a wild 13-12 game in the night cap. You can hear all of the action live tonight between the Hawks and the Regals on AM 1380, FM 102.5 and KCIIradio.com, beginning with the Washington HyVee pregame show at 6:30 and first pitch at 7p.m. The Hawks and Regals are the second game of a doubleheader in Wellman tonight with the first featuring Mediapolis and Williamsburg.
