A minor was injured in a vehicle versus pedestrian collision in Kalona Thursday.

The incident occurred at about 4:12 p.m. at 220 A Avenue involving driver Jerry Burrows of Kalona, according to the Washington County Communications Center. A seven-year-old was transported by Washington County Ambulance Service to the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics for treatment of a possible broken arm. Kalona QRS and the Washington County Sheriff’s Office also responded. KCII will bring you more information as it becomes official.
