A combined 75 years of experience in the Washington County Secondary Roads Department was celebrated during the recent Washington County Board of Supervisors meeting.

Human Resources Administrator Amber Armbruster notified that Maintenance Superintendent JP VanSickle has worked for the county for 35 years, and Mike Bruegge has worked for the county for 40 years. Both received certificates celebrating their achievements, and VanSickle is retiring later this fall. In other business, the supervisors also approved a personnel change request for the resignation of Public Health Administrator Danielle Pettit-Majewski effective August 4th, as she has accepted the public health director position for Johnson County. They also approved the resignation effective July 28th for Public Health Maternal Child Adolescent Health/Hawk-I Coordinator Jen Weidman who had worked for the county for 20 years and has accepted a position at Lincoln Elementary.
