A Washington woman was arrested on multiple charges Tuesday.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office responded to reports at approximately 6:42 p.m. at 3070 Highway 22 for a woman who appeared to be under the influence and stumbling around while trying to air up a tire. Forty-nine year-old Brenda Lea Dittrich was later arrested on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and open container, both simple misdemeanors. Following lab results, charges are pending for possession of controlled substance and possession of controlled substance in jail or correctional institution, both serious misdemeanors and operating while intoxicated first offense.
