Engines will be the ones purring at a fundraising event for Washington’s local animal shelter tomorrow.
The 22nd annual PAWS & More Central Park Car Show returns for the first time since 2019, with the Corn Country Cruisers and other vehicle enthusiasts taking up the downtown square for awards, a 50/50 raffle, and lunch provided by the Washington County Pork Producers from 11:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Shelter Director Amber Talbot encourages everyone to check out the vehicles and fill their shelter van with donations of canned food, toys, and other items on the shelter’s wish list, “This is our biggest event and it’s such a unique event and it attracts people from all over to our community. It’s a fun day to just spend the day outdoors walking around Central Park. Pork Producers will be there serving lunch for us and all the proceeds come to the shelter.”
Entry fee to the show is $15 with registration from 8-11 a.m. and awards given at 3 p.m. Possible rain date for the event is Sunday, September 12th.
