vine-avenue

Washington County is set to begin a maintenance patching project in Crawfordsville starting Monday.

The project will make repairs to the deteriorated surface on Vine Avenue, starting from Columbus Street going south two miles. Repairs will improve the ride quality and extend the life of the pavement. LL Pelling Co. will be handling the project and is expected to take one week to finish the repairs, weather permitting. Patching and milling are expected to take place Monday and Tuesday with overlay later in the week. During this time traffic will be restricted to local access only and may be one lane at a time. Flaggers will be onsite but drivers are urged to avoid the work zone to allow workers to be more efficient, and to use caution in the construction zone and pay attention to road signage if driving through. For more information about the project find contact the County Engineers Office at 319-653-7731.
