Immunocompromised individuals in Washington County can get a third dose to better protect against COVID-19 this Wednesday.

Washington County Public Health is hosting a boost clinic from 1-6 p.m. at their office located in the Federation Bank building. This clinic is open to those who feel they have an immune compromised health condition, and they must have received their second vaccine at least 28 days prior. Moderna is the only vaccine available at this clinic, and those receiving a boost must have the same brand as their first and second doses. The public is asked to bring their vaccine card showing first and second doses with them to their appointment, as well as their insurance card. Booster shots are by appointment only and must be made through public health’s website.
