A trip north to Anamosa was in store for the Washington volleyball team on Saturday and the Demons fell short of picking up their first win of 2021 by dropping three contests.

Washington was swept by Cedar Rapids Jefferson (21-15, 21-8), Northeast Goose Lake (21-13, 21-19), and Anamosa (21-12, 21-6). The Demons are now 0-9 on the season and they get back into Southeast Conference play this evening traveling to Keokuk.
