The relocation of a local insurance provider to the Washington downtown square was celebrated Thursday.

The Washington Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors held a ribbon cutting in conjunction with an open house hosted by Jacqueline Arreola, LLC. at their new location east of the Washington Public Library. Arreola is an independent insurance agent who opened her first location on West 2nd Street three years ago this September. While Arreola enjoyed her former office, she was excited to move into her own building directly on the square. Arreola shares what she enjoys most from her business, “Helping clients, it sounds cliché but I really do, especially when I can save them money or especially when I can make that claim go more smooth than what it should be and just being there. One of the things that I wanted to differentiate myself was the customer service. My business card has my cell phone so I’m available almost 24/7, if it’s an emergency my customers know that they can get ahold of me through my cell phone.”

Her office is also open from 8 a.m.-7 p.m. Monday through Thursday and from 8 a.m.-6 p.m. Friday, 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, and by appointment only on Sunday to accommodate clients’ various schedules. Arreola looks forward to investing into the second floor space, and expanding her services beyond life, health, auto and home insurance, notary, and others.
