The unbeaten West Liberty Comets lived up to the hype Thursday at Tim Grady Gymnasium in Wellman. The No. 8 West Liberty volleyball team swept the Golden Hawks in straight sets on their way to the River Valley Conference win. West Liberty took the match by scores of 25-13, 25-16 and 25-11. The Comets are now 12-0 on the year, having won all 12 matches on the season in sweeps. Mid-Prairie falls to 5-4. The Hawks will next be on the court Tuesday at Wilton.
