Washington youth can find something to do during their Friday early dismissals this fall thanks to the Washington Public Library.
The library is holding a series of “FriYaY Funday Early Out Fun” events lasting from 1:30-2:30 p.m. in Central Park. Youth Services Librarian Jenisa Harris says these events are free for those in kindergarten through 12th grade, “We’re excited to do some early out activities for the first couple months here. We’re going to utilize the green space across the library at the square again, we’ll be right in front of the stage. This is for school-age kiddos.”
The first event takes place this Friday with an educational and interactive program about snakes and turtles from Washington County Conservation. No registration is required for this event.
