The homecoming king and queen for WACO and Sigourney schools have taken center stage.

Crowned as the 2021 WACO homecoming queen is Jaicey Miller with Jonah Clark crowned as king. The court includes Lilly Clark, Maggie Rinner, Zach Schmitz and Jonah Egli. Closing out homecoming festivities is the parade at 5 p.m. tonight with the Warriors taking on the Iowa Valley Tigers under the Friday night lights at 7:30 and a high school dance following the game. 

Reigning as the Sigourney homecoming queen is Madison Richards and Zach Smithart as king. Rounding out the court is Cade Molyneux, Bo Schmidt, Aidan Schuster, Madelynn Hornback, Reagan Talbert and Sophie Whitmore. Coronation was held in the town square following a parade Wednesday. Today’s varsity football match-up versus the Pleasantville Trojans at 7 with a formal dance from 8-11 p.m. tomorrow in the high school gym.
