Parents, employers, and childcare providers have a week left to give their perspective regarding child care in Washington County.

Washington Economic Development Group is offering a survey targeted to parents, employers, and childcare providers to give feedback on aspects such as current and preferred childcare, effects on employers caused by lack of childcare, and providers’ challenges of operating during a pandemic. This will be used for a childcare market study that WEDG has contracted First Children’s Finance to conduct in collaboration with the cities of Washington County, East Central Iowa Council of Governments, Alliant Energy, and the Washington Chamber of Commerce. The survey is open for parents, employers, and childcare providers through September 30th. A completed report is expected this November.
