Three high school students from the Washington County area have been selected for the 2021 All-State Music Festival.
Washington High School was one of six audition host sites across Iowa last Saturday, and Washington student Kevin Flannery was chosen for his third year in a row to perform tuba in the band. Olivia Caskey and Avery Slaubaugh of Mid-Prairie were selected to sing Alto 2 and Soprano 1 in the chorus, respectively. The 75th annual Iowa All-State Festival will take place at 7:30 p.m., November 20th, at Hilton Coliseum in Ames. Information on how to purchase tickets online can be found here.
