The 50th Iowa High School Athletic Association Football Playoffs continues with matchups for several teams in the KCII listening-area.

In last week’s first round, class 2A Mid-Prairie defeated Northeast Goose Lake 35-28, and in eight-man football WACO beat Edgewood-Colesburg 39-36. Class 1A Sigourney-Keota is also still alive with a 34-8 victory over Durant, and tomorrow they’ll host the Waterloo Columbus Sailors at 7 p.m., who they defeated last year to make it to the UNI-Dome. KCII will hit the road to broadcast from the WACO and Mid-Prairie matchups tomorrow starting with the Washington Hy-Vee Pregame Show at 6:30 p.m. The WACO/Martensdale-St. Mary’s game kicks off at 7 p.m. on FM 106.1 with the Golden Hawks soaring over the West Marshall Trojans in State Center with the Systems Unlimited kickoff at 7 p.m. You can also stream both games on our free mobile apps and at kciiradio.com.
