Mid-Prairie setter Landry Pacha reached a major milestone in her career this season, hitting the 1,000 assist mark. The Golden Hawk junior got her 1,000th helper in a sweep of Iowa City Regina at Monticello in the opening round of the River Valley Conference tournament October 12th of this year. Pacha recorded her first career assist in her first ever match, a sweep of Lone Tree at the Keota Tournament August, 26th of 2019, her freshman season. Pacha hit the halfway point to 1,000 against the Lions at the same event to start her junior year, August 23rd of 2021 as the Hawks swept the Lady Lions. Mid-Prairie finished this season with a 16-14 overall record in the regional semifinal round of the 3A playoffs.
