Voters are heading to the polls Tuesday to decide who will represent them on a municipal and school board level.

Polls are open from 7 a.m.-8 p.m. Election Day, an hour shorter since voting laws were changed by the state legislature this spring. The Washington County Auditor’s Office is open Monday for residents to vote absentee in person or drop off mailed absentee ballots. Another change this year is that mailed absentee ballots must be received by the county auditor by 8 p.m. Tuesday to be counted, rather than being postmarked by Election Day. Voters who register at the polls must bring proof of identity and proof of residence. KCII will bring you unofficial results after the polls close Tuesday night.
