An Ainsworth woman was arrested on a Washington County warrant Sunday.

The Washington County Communications Center received reports at approximately 12:07 a.m. of Washington County Sheriff’s deputies out with 45-year-old Rebecca Lynn Lucas. Lucas was arrested for violation of parole on an original conviction of possession of controlled substance methamphetamine third or subsequent offense, a class D felony. Her probation was revoked in September of 2018 and to serve up to 15 years in prison with a minimum of three years. She was later released on parole in May of 2020 after serving just 19 months.  Her record with the Iowa Department of Corrections dates back to October of 2001.
