The all district football teams were released for 8-player district 6 and Lone Tree had four players make the cut.
Two Lions headlined the selections being named to the first team including Cade Patterson as utility and Cade Shield as a defensive back. Patterson was the leading receiver for the Lions hauling in 55 passes for 717 yards and six end zone trips. The senior also had 44.5 tackles defensively, had a team-high four interceptions, and recovered a fumble. Shield amassed 42.5 tackles, picked off two passes, recovered a fumble, and averaged 35 yards per punt. The senior quarterback also completed 55% of his passes for 1,202 yards and nine touchdowns with 12 more on the ground and 618 rushing yards.
Second team selections included Caden Smith as a defensive lineman and Matt Hemsted as a linebacker. The duo were the top two tacklers for the Lions with Hemsted racking up 47 and Smith having 45. They each recovered a fumble and Hemsted caught 16 passes for 128 yards and a score offensively. Additionally, Tyler Bell received the golden spike award given to all district talent that was injured throughout the year. In just three games the senior racked up 16 tackles and recorded 104 yards rushing with three touchdowns.
Lone Tree finished the fall 4-4 overall and 2-4 in the league.
