A Fairfield man is wanted out of Washington County after a stolen vehicle was located in Van Buren County.

The Washington County Communications Center received a report of a stolen vehicle from Brighton at 10:30 a.m. Sunday. A sheriff’s deputy spoke with the caller and advised them to contact Van Buren County. It was then entered as stolen into the system, and charges are pending against 25-year-old Mason Kendall Simons for second-degree theft, a class D felony, and driving while barred, a serious misdemeanor.
