As residents continue to enjoy Marr Park’s amenities year round, Washington County Conservation is seeking help for maintaining the park center and assisting in operations.

Washington County Conservation Executive Director Zach Rozmus says they are very fortunate to have two part-time center coordinators on staff but they are looking to add to their roster. He shares that there are times throughout the year that they need extra assistance and that it would be a great help have more members on their team,  “If anyone is looking for a part-time job to maybe supplement their income, a lot of times it’s going to be during the weekends, during the summer months especially, during our busy season, I encourage them to reach out to us and get an application. So hopefully we can continue to expand that number of part-time coordinators that we have.”

Rozums added that they hope to bring on at least two more part-time coordinators who have a passion for the outdoors, are social, can be flexible to their schedule, and have knowledge of the facilities. He says the position pays $15 per hour and they are looking to hire immediately. Applications can be picked up at the conservation center and the Washington County Courthouse.
