The Savages made another early season statement by downing PCM 57-24, Pella 45-36, and Pleasantville 46-27. In contested matches, SK went 23-12 including recording 20 pins. Four grapplers picked up three contested match wins including Garisin Hynick at 152 lbs by three pins in a combined 3:42, Cade Molyneux at 160 lbs by two pins that totaled 6:11 and a 14-3 major, Aidan Schuster at 182 lbs by two falls in 4:50 and a 13-9 decision, and Conner Reed pinned his three opponents at 220 lbs in just 2:16. Individuals with two victories included Carter Wyatt at 126 lbs, Dan McLaughlin at 132 lbs, Jack Clarahan at 170 lbs, and Cade Streigle at 195 lbs.
Sigourney-Keota pushes their dual record to 7-0 and they get back at it Saturday in Mount Vernon for a tournament.
