The Highland wrestling team was on the mat in front of the home crowd Thursday night when they welcomed Van Buren and Burlington Notre Dame to Riverside. Highland got a win over the visiting Warriors 36-24. The Huskies claimed wins in contested matches by Jack Peiffer at 126lbs by fall, Carlos Valenzuela at 132lbs by fall, Spencer Grout at 138lbs by fall, and Isaac Kleese at 182lbs by fall.

The Huskies were beaten by the Nikes 60-12. Jack Peiffer at 126lbs and Ayden Havel at 145lbs got wins. Highland now has a dual record of 2-5. They travel to North Cedar for tournament action Saturday.
