The Washington Chamber of Commerce is helping residents and businesses get in the holiday spirit with their second annual Washington Wonderland decorating contest.

Over 25 businesses and 12 homes are participating in the contest to see who has the best lighted or decorated outdoor display this season. Chamber Event Coordinator Alisha Davis says the event started last year to supplement the cancellation of their annual tour of homes event, but it was such a success that they decided to host the contest again and combine the homes and businesses all into one, “There’s just one map and you can grab a map for free and go take a stroll or drive your car and go around and look at all the different decorated businesses and homes. And then we’re doing a People’s Choice Award where you can vote for the best decorated home and business.”

The tour of homes committee will also be picking their favorite home and business displays who will each receive a $100 gift card from Ace-N-More. You can pick up a Washington Wonderland map at chamber member businesses and outside the chamber office located near the downtown square. The contest ends on January 1st. Those who still need to find the perfect Christmas present for their special someone can also purchase Chamber Bucks until December 23rd.
