The mats will fill Tim Grady Gymnasium in Wellman one more time this winter when the Mid-Prairie wrestling team hosts their final home event of the year Tuesday. The Hawks enter the night with a dual record of 7-6 after sweeping a quad Thursday at Bellevue against Northeast Goose Lake, Camanche and the Comets. Over the weekend Mid-Prairie was fifth at the Gary Curtis Invitational at Highland with Cael Garvey and Gannon Callahan winning individual titles. The Hawks have two ranked wrestlers in their lineup with Garvey No. 2 in class 2A at 195lbs and Callahan No. 12 at 285lbs according to IAwrestle.com.

Center Point Urbana joins the fray tonight. The Stormin’ Pointers have a 9-7 dual record this year after dropping contests to Marion and West Delaware last week. The Pointers do not have any ranked wrestlers in their lineup.

North Linn is 2-6 this season after splitting a triangular by beating Central City and falling to Lisbon last week. The Lynx have two ranked wrestlers in their lineup with Blain Baumgartner No. 7 at 132lbs and Cael Bridgewater No. 9 at 138lbs in class 1A according to IAwrestle.com. The Golden Hawks beat the Lynx 54-35 in dual action last year.

Wilton is 15-2 on the year after sweeping a River Valley Conference quad last week against West Branch, Iowa City Regina and Anamosa. The Beavers have three ranked wrestlers in their lineup with Brody Brisker No. 2 at 113lbs, Jordan Dusenberry No. 8 at 120lbs, and Trae Hagan No. 12 at 132lbs in class 1A according to IAwrestle.com. The Beavers and Hawks met twice last year with Wilton winning both 57-22 and 48-36.
