The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk wrestling team wrapped up the home portion of their schedule Tuesday, hosting Center Point Urbana, North Linn and Wilton in dual action.
Mid-Prairie pounded North Linn 72-18. The Hawks lone win in a contested match came from Terry Bordenave with a fall at 220lbs.
The Golden Hawks were winners over Center Point-Urbana 42-38. Wins in contested matches for the Hawks came from Mose Yoder by fall at 106lbs, Collin O’Rourke by fall at 120lbs, Evan Phillips at 152lbs by fall, Kaden Meader at 170lbs by fall, Cael Garvey at 195lbs by fall, Terry Bordenave at 220lbs by fall and Gannon Callahan at 285lbs by fall.
Mid-Prairie fell to conference rival Wilton 59-24. The Hawks had wins in contested matches from Mose Yoder at 106lbs by fall, Evan Phillips at 152lbs by fall and Cael Garvey at 195lbs by fall. The Golden Hawks dual record improves to 9-7 as they prepare for a road trip to Cascade Thursday.
