Washington 4-H County Council is hosting their 7th annual Father Daughter Dance from 6 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, February 12th. The “Let it Glow” dance is open to the public for any kindergarten-fourth grade girl. Fathers, grandfathers, uncles, older brothers or neighbors are welcome to attend as the adult guest. The dance will be held in Dallmeyer Hall in the lower level on the fairgrounds and will include dancing, games, light refreshments, door prizes, fresh flower corsage, glowing accessories to wear and take home and a photo booth. Registration forms available at http://www.extension.iastate.edu/washington/ . Pre-registration is required by February 4th. Cost is $20 per couple and $5 for any additional child. Any proceeds from this event go to support Clover Kid and other youth programs offered by Washington County Extension. The 4-H County Council will also be offering hair styling and nail appointments with manicures from 3 to 5:30 p.m. on February 12 for an additional $10.
