The Mid-Prairie and Washington girls wrestling teams took to the mat Monday at Solon in tournament action. The Golden Hawks had four champions on the day with Gabi Robertson winning her bracket with a title match fall over Nina Kuhlmann of Iowa City, City High. Ashlee Farrier won gold, beating Sierra Pruessner of City High by fall in the finals. Marissa Cline was a champ, going to sudden victory in the finals against Madilyn Colburn of Benton. Ali Bolanos was a winner in her finals match beating Harper Griffin of Marion by fall. Grace Conway and Ellie Brenneman had runner-up finishes for the Hawks.

Top finish for the Demon girls was Teegan Sulentich in third place after a 1-1 day. Jenna Bose was fourth.
