Two vehicles were totaled in a wreck east of Riverside Tuesday.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office states at 8:52 p.m. Ryan Carlson of Lone Tree was driving a pickup truck eastbound on Highway 22 while a juvenile was driving a pickup truck southbound on Vine Avenue. The juvenile stopped at the stop sign and then entered the intersection of Highway 22 colliding with Carlson’s vehicle. Both drivers had a private transport from the scene and the juvenile was cited for failure to yield upon entering through a highway. Riverside Fire and QRS, Washington County Ambulance Service, and Bulltown Towing assisted at the scene.
