It was all Sigourney all the time on Tuesday when the Savage basketball teams hosted Tri-County for senior night and they rolled to a pair of victories.
The Sigourney girls had little issues in their second meeting with the Trojans (3-15) by coming away with a 51-24 win. The black and gold finished plus 21 in the turnover margin and out rebounded their opponent 28-21 including hauling in 17 offensive boards. Carly Goodwin was the story hitting a trio of threes and finishing with a game-high 21 points. Josephine Moore brought in seven rebounds. Sigourney improves to 11-9 overall and 8-7 in the South Iowa Cedar League. The Savage boys dominated Tri-County (1-16) as well with a final score of 66-17. They moved to 12-7 and 8-6 in the SICL. Seniors recognized included Julia VanEe for the girls and the boys had three in Levi Crawford, Ethan Shifflett, and Bo Schmidt.
Both teams return home tonight against North Mahaska.
