The annual Greater Washington Business Partnership Dinner invites community members, businesses, and organizations to join together as one to celebrate growth and successes in the past year and share their story.
After the dinner was held remotely at several restaurants throughout Washington County last year to mitigate the pandemic, the Washington Chamber of Commerce, Main Street Washington, and Washington Economic Development Group organizations are returning to their traditionally-formatted dinner at the Riverside Casino and Golf Resort Event Center. Chamber Event Coordinator Alisha Davis shares some of what the event will feature, “There’s a storyteller/speaker that we’ve had do some little video presentations to help us get the word out about the storytelling theme. She’s really amazing and we’ll incorporate her throughout the dinner but then we also kind of want to give it back to the community to share their stories and reasons why they love Washington and reasons that their business and the community is successful and helped shape them.”
The three organizations will give out their respective awards to outstanding businesses, volunteers, and others. The Chamber invites the public to submit their nomination for their citizen and business of the year awards, with the deadline of Friday, February 11th. The dinner will be held Monday, March 7th, and registration is due Monday, February 28th. For links to register and to nominate a resident or business, visit here.
