Organizations with projects big or small can apply for the spring grant cycle of the Washington County Riverboat Foundation.

The application period is open now through March 10th for organizations to apply for the foundation’s competitive grants which are funded by the Riverside Casino and Golf Resort. No match is required to apply, and applicants must be either a governmental unit; charitable, religious, or educational organization; social welfare organization; business league; or veterans organization. Areas of special interest for the foundation are projects that improve the quality of life and enhance the image of the county’s communities, serve as a catalyst for economic development, promote life-long learning and academic performance, and serve human and social needs.
