One person was taken to the hospital following a vehicle pursuit that ended south of Riverside Sunday.

The Washington County Communications Center received reports at approximately 1:56 p.m. of an Iowa State Patrol trooper in pursuit of a vehicle. The vehicle later went into a ditch near the intersection of Riverside Road and 135th Street. Washington County Ambulance Service transported one to University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. Washington County Sheriff’s Office, Riverside Fire and QRS, and Bulltown Towing also responded to the scene. KCII will bring you more information as it becomes official.
