The Lone Tree boys’ basketball team concluded the regular season on Tuesday and fell to Pekin 52-39 at home. 

The Panthers (9-12) held a 20-16 advantage at the break and then had a 19-13 third quarter to create some separation for the Southeast Iowa Super Conference victory. Cade Patterson led Lone Tree with 12 points and 12 rebounds while Cade Shield added 11 points. 

The Lions finished seventh in the north division with a 3-13 league mark and 6-16 overall. They open the class 1A districts tonight hosting Columbus Community (4-17).
