Two people were injured from a two-vehicle collision that occurred south of Washington Friday.

The Washington County Communications Center states the incident occurred at about 12:50 p.m. on Wayland Road near 275th Street. Washington County Ambulance Service transported one person to Washington County Hospital and Clinics and another to University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. Moore’s Towing towed both vehicles from the scene. Washington Fire and EMS, Washington County Rescue, and Washington County Sheriff’s Office also responded to the scene.
