A Cedar Rapids man was recently ordered probation for incidents that occurred last May at the Riverside Casino & Golf Resort.
Court documents show that 36-year-old Trevor Andrew Clinton pleaded guilty to two counts of aiding and abetting false claim of jackpot and one count of forgery, both class D felonies. Five-year prison sentences were suspended for all of the counts for Clinton to be placed on three years probation. He must pay a $1,025 fine plus applicable surcharges for the first count, while fines for the other two counts were suspended and Clinton was found not to have the reasonable ability to pay Category B restitution. He is barred for life from excursion gambling boats and structures in Iowa.
