Washington County residents have the chance to hear directly from their elected lawmakers during a legislative briefing held by the Washington Chamber of Commerce Saturday.

The Chamber hosts these briefings on the third Saturday of the month during the Iowa Legislative Session, where representatives Jarad Klein (R-78) and Joe Mitchell (R-84) and senators Kevin Kinney (D-39) and Jeff Reichman (R-42) can share what they have been working on at the capitol, and answer questions from constituents. The event lasts from 10 a.m.-noon in the courtroom at the Washington County Courthouse and is free and open to the public.
