The Iowa Print Sports Writers Association released the 2022 boys basketball all state teams and Washington was represented. 

Kasen Bailey was one of 24 players recognized in class 3A and was named to the third team. This honor follows a first team all Southeast Conference selection where the senior led the league with 105 assists and finished fifth in points with 349. The 6’2’’ guard knocked down 48 threes at an efficient 43% while averaging 15.2 points a game. He shot 78% from the line, brought in 75 rebounds, created 18 steals, and forced 15 blocks. Throughout his four year varsity career, Bailey compiled 858 points and dished out 202 assists. 

Bailey has been apart of three consecutive SEC titles and helped lead the Demons to a 19-4 record this winter.
