Court records show 39-year-old Mathew Edward Albright pleaded guilty to driving while barred – habitual offender, an aggravated misdemeanor, and is placed on two years probation. An $855 fine was suspended pending successful completion of probation, and charges of third-degree burglary, a class D felony, and operating a vehicle without owner’s consent, an aggravated misdemeanor were dismissed. Albright and co-defendant 22-year-old Xezna Beard drove to a residence on Tulip Avenue and picked the door lock, and came out of the home later with some items. When a tow operator showed up for the vehicle they were driving, Albright drove away in an RV belonging to the property owner. The RV was later located at the Johnson County Fairgrounds. He was arrested on warrants about a month later. Beard was placed on two years of probation this February.
