A Wellman man who was arrested for allegedly burglarizing his place of employment this February now faces sexual exploitation charges.
Twenty-two year-old Trevor Devon Miller was arrested on charges of third-degree burglary, a class D felony, fourth-degree theft, a serious misdemeanor, and fifth-degree criminal mischief, a simple misdemeanor for a February 14th incident that occurred at a business at 252 8th Avenue in Wellman. Court documents show on March 4th, Washington County Sheriff’s Office Investigator Chad Ellis received a report that Miller produced a video of a female minor involved in a sex act in March of 2021. On March 7th, Ellis spoke with the victim who told him she had knowledge that Miller made the video but did not consent to its production. It was also discovered that Miller allegedly sent the same video to another female minor sometime last summer. He is charged with sexual exploitation of a minor – cause to engage in act, a class C felony, and sexual exploitation of a minor – promote film, a class D felony.
