Washington’s Ward 1 residents have a couple of days left to vote early for the April 5th city council special election.

Bethany Glinsmann and Deran DeLong are running for the city council vacancy to represent the northwest quadrant of the city through 2023. Residents can vote by absentee ballot at the Washington County Auditor’s Office at the courthouse anytime during their business hours Friday and Monday, April 4th, and mailed absentee ballots must be received by the auditor’s office by 8 p.m. on Election Day in order to be counted. The auditor’s office will be open until 8 p.m. Tuesday to accept mailed ballots, and polls will be open from 7 a.m.-8 p.m. at the Washington YMCA located on West 5th Street.
