A Washington man was arrested on three warrants Wednesday morning.

The Washington County Communications Center states the Washington Police Department arrested 39-year-old Sedrick Morrel Johnson on warrants for dominion of a firearm by a felon and possession with intent to deliver more than 50 kilograms of marijuana, both class D felonies, and tampering with a witness or juror, an aggravated misdemeanor, for a felony case involving 30-year-old Jimmie Lee Stringer III of Washington.

On February 18th a search warrant was executed at Johnson’s residence in the 100 block of South Avenue B. Marijuana, packaging, digital scales, and eight cell phones were seized. Photos and videos of Johnson possessing firearms in his home were located on the phones. He was last convicted of felon in possession of a firearm and possession with intent to distribute marijuana in 2017 in Washington County, and was convicted of a felony drug crime in 2002 in Illinois.
