Residents of Ward 1 in the City of Washington cast their ballots to elect a new council representative Tuesday.

The unofficial results from the Washington County Auditor’s Office show Bethany Vittetoe Glinsmann received 118 total votes, and Deran DeLong received 106 total votes. Glinsmann will be representing the northwest quadrant of the city for a term ending in 2023. Results are unofficial until a canvassing by the Washington County Board of Supervisors.
