Southeast Iowa will have state level representation thanks to a string of recent appointments by Governor Kim Reynolds. From Washington County, Randoph Fehr has been named to the Higher Education Loan Authority. Jack Seward will serve on the Mental Health and Disability Services Commission. From Keokuk County, Melissa Gentry was appointed to the Board of Physician Assistants and Dee Sandquist of Jefferson County is a part of the Justice Advisory Board. From Henry County Rhonda Shelman will participate in the Iowa Grain Indemnity Fund Board, and Carrie Duncan will serve on the Iowa Workforce Development Board. These appointments are subject to Senate confirmation.
