It was another heads up Southeast Iowa Super Conference dual on Monday for the Winfield-Mt. Union golf teams traveling to Heritage Oaks against Wapello and both schools walked home with a victory. 

The WMU girls came out on top in the nine-hole meet 245-274. Ava Hagge recorded a meet medalist score of 57 and Isabel Kann was runner-up with 59. Afton Wilkerson tallied a 63, Alli Humphreys 66, Lily Freeman 70, and Chloe Fisher 73. On the boys’ side, the Wolves were clipped by Wapello 196-205. Carter Loyd racked up the best score in the field with a 45. Andrew Brown carded a 52, Nick Crow 53, Griffin Humphreys 55, Jake Edwards 59, and Isaac Schurr 60. 

WMU is back on the home course tonight against Louisa-Muscatine.
